Welcome to San Francisco NARFE Chapter 65!
Chapter 65 invites you to join the National Active and Retired Federal Employees, in association since 1921. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 1:00pm in the New Federal Building at 90-7th Street, lower level Rm B-120 (unless otherwise specified), in San Francisco (Civic Center BART station). A Photo ID is REQUIRED to enter the building.

CHAPTER 65 BY LAWS REVISIONS
The ByLaws committee has removed a lot of unnecessary wording and consolidated the Chapter's Constitution, Standing Rules and Bylaws. At both the October and November meetings, copies of the draft "Proposed Bylaws" were available as a handout, and questions were addressed. A copy of the 2016-11-10 Proposed ByLaws is available here for download. Bylaws will be finalized at the 1:00pm Chapter meeting on February 15, 2017. Please try to attend. Your voice is important.
JANUARY PROGRAM SPEAKER: Our 1st Vice President Martha Raup will present "Exploring NARFE Webinars" and demonstrate how to access the Webinars, highlight the topics that have been covered, and show the benefits they offer. Also, the Chapter By Laws will be finalized at this meeting and will be voted on at the February meeting. Copies of the By Laws can be requested from any Chapter officer and will be available at the January and February meetings.
FEBRUARY PROGRAM SPEAKER: Our guest speaker in February is Anne Morkill, Refuge Complex Manager, San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Ms. Morkill, who has over 20 years' experience with the Fish & Wildlife Service will give an overview of the organization's mission and highlight some of their local projects.
